Abstract: Mostly past data get analyzed and in other words there is always the case for latency. The current industry demands the evolution of Big Data and Hadoop solutions from batch oriented jobs to real-time stream based analytics. There are some scenario where data needs to analyze on real time basis. In this session we will cover the technologies from Microsoft to achieve the same.

Session 2: Benchmarking Disk Performance

Abstract: A well-performing IO Subsystem is super critical to SQL Server’s performance. And benchmarking disk performance is super critical for a DBA. In this demo-heavy session, you will learn all the important terminologies and concepts related to disk drives and how to benchmark disks using SQLIO.
